Every Incandescent World

Photobook Collection

This series documents my time living in three cities - New York City, Moscow, and Los Angeles - and hopes to capture my personal experience of each place, revealing their distinct personalities and eccentricities. New York City, with its vibrant energy and constant hustle, pulsates through the frames, capturing the city that never sleeps. Moscow's photographs are infused with a sense of grandeur, depicting its monumental architecture and rich history. In contrast, Los Angeles seems to radiate a sense of ease, with palm tree-lined streets and sun-soaked beaches. In adapting to these cities, my sense of self transformed, mirroring the uniqueness of each place. But looking back at these moments, a surreal phenomenon takes hold, where the collision of these three cities in your memory creates a hazy image of an imagined future place. This place exists only as an amalgam, a no-place that resembles only a jumbled projection of some urbanity, incandescent with the unknown.
